Hey all you Med Hat skateboarders!!
We've been reading the Medicine Hat News and your blog every day. And we absolutely love it. What a fantastic story you guys have to tell when you get home!!! We can hardly wait to hear all the details that the newspaper misses and look at all your photos. Count us in when you put on your African Show when you get home. We definitely want to see it. We send all our best wishes to you from Calgary.

Hey - it's Terence.

Thanks so much for your support.

Keep sending comments. When we get a chance we print them off and read them to the team.

I am just on my way back to Bauchi. Travelled to each of our teams. They are doing great. With each team we had a 'team time' where the team just shared - their thots/feelings/impressions. It's been amazing hearing their stories and their experiences. Some incredible insites. for example, I heard a couple of times last night when i met with the abuja team - "we've got it so good and all I do is complain". I think it was curt that went on to say "the people here work hard just to survive. we don't work hard and we've got everything we could ever want".

The boys have been amazing (the girls, too!!). Working hard. Great attitudes. Learning and experiencing so much.

Tomorrow (Saturday) all the teams come together in Das (outside of Bauchi) for a team project. So, that will be good to be together.

we will be in touch.

Wow! The news stories are great. The story on Justice and the comments from the Abuja team was so touching in Saturday’s news. We are so proud that our son is a member of this team and amazed at what a group of young people can do to show they care. You are not only changing Africa but also changing Medicine Hat. I can only imagine how the team is touched by what they are experiencing but you’re also touching many hearts back home in your own community. Great Job guys! Take care, keep safe, and enjoy your venture. Hi to Chris, we are constantly thinking about you. (OK.. and worrying!) Love and Hugs, Mom and Dad.
